Our Venue Options

Cork & Crate offers three specialized venues with many add-ons as well! A boutique Tea House elopement centre, a masterpiece Vine House and Courtyard, as well as an outdoor tent wedding are the three choices for an event at the Estates. Whatever you choose will include our full attention as we help perfect your day through all-inclusive services and our recommended vendor options. When you choose your main venue, there are endless possibilities with flexibility to choose what’s best for you, as Fly Free Photography points out in their “7 Calgary Small Wedding Venues” blog. Brides can enjoy a bridal party space for pampering in the Sunflower Suite. Grooms, you will have an equally fun place to get ready, perfect for relaxing before the ceremony begins! With games, nature paths, landscaped gardens and much more, your guests, bridal parties and loved ones will enjoy a unique and special day at our event centre!

Vine House & Courtyard

The Vine House and Courtyard is our largest setting and is the perfect opportunity for up to 200 guests to witness the magic and love you and your partner share for one another.

The courtyard’s sunflower surrounded alter and hedge bordered seating make this garden-like ceremony space lavish in its simplicity.

The Vine House’s exterior boasts an elegant winery-like standing, a mesmerizing backdrop for photos on your special day. Whiskey and wine barrels help create a winery-themed experience. Large glass and bay doors establish an outdoor garden feel in the summer months or warmth and intimacy in the winter months.

Since the building’s erection, many styled shoots have chosen this space. Check out the Dallas Olga Photography team’s bold, bright and beautifully styled shoot!

Tea House & Courtyard

With up to 45 of your loved ones, enjoy the Tea House and Courtyard on your special day. This quiet space brings elegance to your intimate ceremony and reception. The true highlight of this location is the garden of blossoming sunflowers surrounding your ceremony and rows of mature bushes and trees. There are indoor bathrooms and a beautiful wooden deck.

Outdoor Tent

From May – October, enjoy the outdoor space of the Estate by moving your guests to an open tent as night falls. These aren’t your average tents, as they will certainly add to a luxurious feel with their white color and arched windows. Leave the doors open or close it up as the night cools down.

Sunflower Suite

When celebrating at the Vine House, enjoy this included bridal sanctuary for you and your bridesmaids to get all dolled up! With direct access to the restroom and a beautifully naturally lighted room, the bridal party has everything they need to pamper, relax and take in the special day.

The suite has a private entrance to and from the ceremony for you to make your grand entrance. Use your space after the ceremony for you and your newly wed to take a few quiet minutes to unwind and reminisce. Relax, refresh and get ready before the party begins!

For tent weddings, the Tea House can serve as a beautiful private bridal suite.

Bow-Tie Club

At Cork & Crate we understand the wedding day is equally important for both parties. While the bride is being pampered in her suite, the groom and his exclusive guests will enjoy the Bow-Tie Club complete with dart boards, games and plenty of fun! Use our BBQ to enjoy food before your guests arrive. Use this space to feel the magic of your special day while providing the perfect opportunity for your photographer to capture you with your best buddies! Following photos and games, the groom will descend from Whiskey Hill down a private staircase for his own ovation to the altar where he awaits his beautiful bride.

For tent weddings or Tea House venue investments, enjoy the Man Cave for the groomsmen quarters.

Whiskey Hill

Whiskey Hill is a private, hidden gem with a great space for groomsmen to take pictures amongst alluring tree’d foliage. Enjoy your private celebration here before proceeding down the hill for your own special ovation to the altar. After the ceremony, Whiskey Hill is transformed into an area for elite cocktails and h’ordeuvre services.

Outdoor Spaces & Animals

After your event, stroll around the pond and fountain, take a look at the animals and enjoy paths all over the Estate. Need a way to use up sometime downtime for your guys while you and your newlywed are taking pictures? At Cork and Crate Estate we offer the time between the ceremony and reception for 1-1.5 hours to experience the petting zoo with donkeys, llamas, and more! In addition to the Petting Zoo Cork and Crate’s vast acreage offers a uniquely beautiful location for camping.

Guests can enjoy games and be delightfully entertained by swings, hammocks and a zipline. All of the outside amenities are one of the most special pieces Cork & Crate offers.
